I challenged myself to do this super-quick, and I did it! I made the Market Bag from Fabulous Felted Handknits. Next time, I think I'd make a single strap long enough to go across my torso instead of the two handles, but I think felting the bottom and not the mesh part makes it really strong and stuffable. Check my awesomeness:
and a closeup of the mesh:
I'm very proud of myself! :)

Erin's Bag!
Another string bag completed. This one knitted from Erin’s pattern,
was fast and fun. It took me Sunday to Sunday to knit, so you should be able to knit this in about 2 hours.
The string for this was gifted to me by Nancy. Hemp For Knitting in a DK weight color #102 or chocolate brown for those of us who like a more scientific term for colors. I used almost 2 skeins (almost 300 yds) and some beads I had by my chair. Doesn't everyone?
I had fun making this one Erin, thanks!!!

Crochet One, Knit Too
String bag the first! This was fun, the pattern is an old one published quite some time ago. And I didn't figure the yarn requirement. I'll do better with the specs on the bags to come. I did use an obscure kind of cotton from a 3 lb. cone I got online from Maggie's Crochet a few years ago.
This started as a progress photo, but I just couldn't stop. Please tell Siggy I finished!
